Performance, travel, and teaching schedule
I only list public events here. Contact me for information about private events
I'm always available for performances and to give instruction in music. I teach private
lessons weekly in Newmarket and Exeter, New Hampshire. I'll travel anywhere to lead
workshops and teach classes. I've done past gigs ranging from Ireland to Seattle.
August 2008
2nd, Saturday - I'm going to play my favorite fiddle tunes at the Newmarket Saturday Music
Series, 11:30 - 2:30pm, outdoors, downtown across the street from the post office on Main
St. (RT 108)
2nd, Saturday - Berry Best Farm, Lebanon, ME, I'll be leading a barn dance for the 50th
anniversary of the farm. This is a fun family event, bluegrass music from 2 - 5pm, and the
barn dance around 6 pm.
September 2008
5th, 6th, 7th, Friday through Sunday - Fiddleheads Acoustic Music Camp. Once again I'll be
on the staff of this wonderful friendly camp, situated in a beautiful location on Lake
Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire. Please visit the camp web site for registration

20 th, - Newmarket Heritage Festival, My son Brennish and I will be doing a 45 minute
concert as the Thomsons at 12:45 - 1:30pm. We will be performing celtic, french canadian,
appalachian, and other ethnic music on instruments including twin fiddles, flute, whistle,
rub board, banjo, wooden spoons, songs, jaw harp, and more. For the rest of the afternoon
till 4:30 I'll be moving about the festival grounds playing tunes on fiddle and accordion
25 th, - 132nd Annual Deerfield Fair, family day concert with the Thomson's - Brennish and
Ryan, 1 - 2 pm on the Relaxation Grove Stage.

October, 2008
2 nd, - Thursday, Fiddle Jam Class, at Traip Academy, Kittery, ME, starting on this date, and
continuing weekly for 6 weeks, 6:30 - 8:30 pm. A portion of each week's class will be
structured toward different styles, and the remainder an open fiddle jam on our favorite
